Information accessed
When you click the SEO Checker extension icon, the extension temporarily reads information from the webpage currently open in your active browser tab.
This may include:
- Page title and title tag
- Meta description
- H1 and H2 headings
- Canonical URL
- Open Graph and Twitter Card metadata
- JSON-LD structured data
- Image alt text
- Internal and external links
- Robots meta directives
- Page language
- Viewport settings
- Page word count
This information is classified as website content and is accessed only to provide the requested on-page SEO audit.
How the information is used
The webpage information is used only to:
- Analyse on-page SEO elements
- Calculate an SEO audit score
- Identify missing or incorrectly configured SEO elements
- Display recommendations inside the extension
The information is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions or any unrelated purpose.
Local processing
SEO Checker processes the webpage information locally within your browser.
The extension does not:
- Upload webpage content to Creative Nexus servers
- Store the audited page content

User control
The extension accesses the current webpage only after you click the extension icon. You can stop using the extension at any time by disabling or removing it from Chrome.

Where local extension preferences are saved, they are stored only in the user’s browser and are not transmitted to Creative Nexus.
Third-party services
SEO Checker does not send audited webpage content to third-party services.
Should this change in a future version, this privacy policy and the Chrome Web Store data disclosures will be updated before the new version is published.
Data security
Because the webpage audit is performed locally, webpage content is not transmitted over a network by the extension.
Children’s privacy
SEO Checker is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
